Principle objective of this article is to Define Proactive Health. As a way to implement proactive health strategies it might be necessary to educate oneself by viewing written and video information to acquire knowledge and understanding connected with certain risk factors including tobacco smoking, elevated our blood pressure, elevated cholesterol and a positive family history as they relate to heart disease. Some risk factors for disease could be reduced or eliminated through proactive health actions alone including smoking cessation or fat loss, but others might need targeted risk screening tests which can detect risk factors including diabetes or elevated cholesterol.
