This lecture briefly describe on how to Deal with different types of networks. Here major focus on Circuit-switched (e.g. telephone) and Packet-switched (e.g. Ethernet, ATM) networks. This lecture also focus on Multiple Access Strategies; in terms of Schemes for Sharing a Communication Medium; and portrait advantages and disadvantages of different types of networks. Finally explain relation between Carrier Sensing Hardware and Carrier Sensing Networks.
