A crash simulation is a virtual recreation of a destructive crash test of the car or a new highway guard rail system by using a computer simulation as a way to examine the level of safety of the car and its people in the room. Crash simulations are utilized by automakers in the course of computer-aided engineering analysis for crashworthiness from the computer-aided design process of modelling new automobiles.
