Consequentialism is frequently contrasted with deontological values, in that deontology, during which rules and meaning duty are key, derives the rightness or wrongness of the conduct from the smoothness of the behaviour itself rather than the outcomes of the conduct. Consequentialism is the class of normative honest theories holding which the consequences of one’s conduct are classified as the ultimate basis for any judgment about the rightness or wrongness of these conduct.
