Carbon literacy is the knowledge and capacity required to manufacture a positive shift inside how mankind lives, works and behaves in respond to climate change. The Carbon Literacy Challenge defines carbon literacy as “an knowing of the carbon charges and impacts regarding everyday activities and the ability and motivation to relieve emissions, on anyone, community and organisational schedule.” This term has been used in a range of contexts in scientific literature and in casual usage.
