Annual Report 2016-2017 of Syndicate Bank

It is a broadly described annual report of Syndicate Bank in the year of 2016-2017. During the financial year, The Bank’s global business stood at Rs. 4,67,626 Crore as at 31^st March 2017 as compared to Rs. 4,68,185 Crore as at 31^st March 2016. The global deposits of the Bank were at Rs. 2,60,561 Crore as on 31^st March 2017 as against Rs. 2,61,736 Crore as at 31^st March 2016. The Bank’s total income stood at Rs. 26,461.18 Crore in the FY 2016-17 as compared to Rs. 25,706.51 Crore in the FY 2015-16. Operating profit of the Bank increased to Rs. 4,233.23 Crore for the FY 2016-17 from Rs. 3,251.31 Crore for the FY 2015-16, registering a growth of 30.20%. Net Profit of the Bank recorded at Rs. 358.95 Crore for the FY 2016-17 as against Net Loss of Rs. 1,643.49 Crore for the FY 2015-16. The Earning per Share (EPS) of the Bank stood at Rs. 4.21 in the FY 2016-17.

The Board of Directors of the Bank has not recommended any dividend for the financial year 2016-2017.
