It is a broadly described annual report of Hindustan Zinc Limited in the year of 2015-16. The Company has contributed Rs. 4,738 Crore, in terms of royalties, taxes and duties to the exchequer on a cash basis. During the financial year, Total assets of the Company stood at Rs. 55,243.84 Crores. The Share Capital of the Company stood at Rs. 845.06 Crores. The Company reported total revenue including other income of Rs. 16,956 Crore, a decrease of 3.7% compared to FY 2015. Profit before tax for the year Rs. 8,610 Crores. The Company reported profits of Rs. 8,167 Crore for the year, flat from the previous year. The basic EPS for the year was Rs. 19.33 per share as compared to Rs. 19.35 per share in FY 2014-15.
The Board of Directors of the Company has declared a Special Golden Jubilee dividend of @1200% i.e. Rs. 24 per share on the share of Rs. 2/- each. The Board of Directors has not recommended any final dividend for the year 2015-16.
