It is a broadly described annual report of Anlima Yarn Dyeing Limited in the year of 2014. During the financial year, The turnover from yarn dyeing service was Tk.146.8 million against Tk. 153.61 million of the previous year. Against this sales the cost of goods sold was Tk. 116.56 million resulting in gross profit of Tk. 31million. In sewing thread, the sales during the year were Tk. 83.06 million against Tk. 89.06 million of the previous year. The cost of goods sold for sewing thread was Tk. 65.09 million and gross profit from sewing thread was Tk. 17.42 million. The gross profit per unit (ton) was Tk. 29 and Tk. 86 for yarn dyeing and sewing thread compared to Tk.32 and Tk. 90 of the previous year. After deducting the marketing, administrative and financial expense the company’s net profit was Tk. 11.9 million and Tk. 6.73 million in yarn dyeing and sewing thread respectively. The previous year’s net profit was Tk. 15.36 million and Tk. 8.90 million for these products respectively.
The Board, considering shareholders interest, is pleased to recommend @10% Cash Dividend i.e. Tk. 1.0 per share for the year 2013-14 for approval in the Annual General Meeting. These financial statements are presented in Bangladesh Taka (Taka/Tk/BDT) which is the company’s functional currency. All financial information presented in Taka has been rounded off to the nearest Taka.
