Annual Report 2014-2015 of Syndicate Bank

It is a broadly described annual report of Syndicate Bank in the year of 2014-2015. During the financial year, The Bank’s Global business increased by 19% from Rs. 388584 Crore as at 31^st March 2014 to Rs. 461192 Crore as at 31^st March 2015. Global Deposits increased by 20% from Rs. 212343 Crore as at 31^st March 2014 to Rs. 255388 Crore as at 31^st March 2015. The Bank’s total income rose by 18.95% from Rs. 19945.21crore in 2013-14 to Rs. 23724.75 Crore in 2014-15. Operating profit grew by 12% from Rs. 3563 Crore in 2013-14 to Rs. 4007 Crore in FY 2014-15. Net profit of the Bank stood at Rs. 1522.93 Crore as at 31^st March 2015 as against Rs. 1711.46 Crore as at 31^st March 2014, recording a decline of 11.02%. The Earning per share (EPS) of the Bank stood at Rs. 24.38 in 2014-15 as compared to Rs. 28.21 in 2013-14.

The Board of Directors of the Bank has declared a dividend of @47% (Rs.4.70 per share) for the year ended March 2015. The total outgo in the form of the dividend (inclusive of dividend tax) during the year 2014-15 was Rs. 374 Crore.
