It is a broadly described annual report of M.I. Cement Factory Limited in the year of 2012. The total turnover of The Company in 201l-2012 has reached Taka. 5,657.60 million Showing an increase of about 40.66% over the previous year. Net Profit After Tax (NPAT) for the current year stood at Tk. 559.47 million as against Tk. 435.94 million of the previous year, which is much higher this year compared to the last year resulting from an increase in Earnings Per Share (EPS) of Tk. 4.14 as against Tk. 3.23 (restated) for the Last year.
The current year’s performance has encouraged the Board of Directors to recommended a handsome dividend of 45% which consists of 35%, Cash and 10% Stock. These financial statements are presented in Bangladesh Taka (Taka/Tk/BDT) which is the company’s functional currency. All financial information presented in Taka has been rounded off to the nearest Taka.
