Annual Report 2009-2010 of Andhra Bank

It is a broadly described annual report of Andhra Bank in the year of 2009-2010. During the financial year, The Bank’s Total Business increased by 29.26% to reach Rs. 1,34,194 Crore as on 31^st March 2010 from Rs. 1,03,818 Crore as on 31^st March 2009. Deposits increased by 30.81% and stood at Rs. 77,688 Crore against Rs. 59,390 Crore in the previous year. Operating profit increased from Rs. 1288 Crore as on 31^st March 2009 to Rs. 1810 Crore as on 31^st March 2010. Net Profit earned was Rs. 1046 Crore as at the end of March 2010 compared to Rs. 653 Crore as at the end of March 2009. Earnings per Share increased to Rs. 21.56 from Rs. 13.46, while Book Value per Share increased from Rs. 75.20 to Rs. 90.93.

The Board of Director’s of the bank has recommended a dividend of @ 50% for the year ended 2019-2010.
