It is a broadly described annual report of Andhra Bank in the year of 2005-2006. During the financial year, The Bank’s Total Business increased to Rs. 56,406 Crore from Rs. 45,461 Crore in 2004-05, registering a growth rate of 24.08%. Total Deposits increased to Rs. 33,922 Crore from Rs. 27551 Crore, registering a growth rate of 23.13%. Core Operating Profit (excluding Profit on sale of Investments) of the Bank increased to Rs. 698.27 Crore, recording a growth rate of 14.96%. Net Profit stood at Rs. 485.50 Crore compared to Rs. 520.10 Crore in the previous year.
The Board of Director’s of the Bank has declared a final dividend of @35% for the year 2005-2006 and the dividend shall be paid on 26th May 2006 to the shareholders.
