Algorithmic information theory principally reports complexity measures on strings. Because most mathematical objects can be described in terms of strings, or because the limit of any sequence of strings, it can be taken to study lots of mathematical objects, including integers. Algorithmic information theory is usually a subfield of facts theory and laptop or computer science that concerns itself with all the relationship between computation and information.
