Community economic development (CED) is an action by people in a specific geographic community to create local economic chances and improve standard of living. CED recognizes which local challenges in addition to opportunities are as varied because individual communities on their own. By using knowledge and resources resident in the neighborhood, CED identifies in addition to capitalizes on nearby opportunities to activate economic growth in addition to employment.
