Transparencies in DDBMS

Basic objective of this lecture is to describe on Transparencies in DDBMS.  Transparency refers to the separation of the high-level semantics of a system from lower-level implementation issues. In a distributed system, it hides the implementation details from users of the system. Here briefly explain on four main categories of transparencies, they are: Distribution transparency, Transaction transparency, Performance transparency and DBMS transparency.
