Executive Summery:

The Child Care Center Business Plan provides a description of the center, tells who the center serves, and outlines its competition. In addition, it lays out the center’s marketing strategy (how the center will maintain full occupancy), and explains the financial operations of the center. The Plan should provide the reader the ability to understand the child care industry itself, as well as the details about YOUR specific center.

 The Sections of the Child Care Center Business Plan includes (1) The Business Introduction, (2) The Business Organization Section,(3)The Management/Operations Section, (4)The Marketing Section, (5)The Financial Section and (6)Supporting Documents.

Developing the Child Care Center Business Plan is a process which includes: firstly, outlining the general concept of “Day Care Center”. Secondly, conducting research. Thirdly, refining my ideas based on my research. And fourthly, developing specific components of the Plan.

Child Care Business Plan has some functions:

  • It forces me to define the “mission” of my center, my center’s goals, and my action plan to meet these goals
  • It compels me to look at my center objectively to determine its feasibility
  • It communicates my center’s ideas to friends, family, investors, bankers, supporters, and others within my management team
  • It serves as an operating tool to help you run your center

These sections are interrelated. The marketing section, for instance, cannot exist without the financial section, and visa versa. This means that when I am writing the marketing section

I must keep track of any financial implications (costs involved in communicating, for example: brochures, media, etc.)When presenting a Child Care Center Business Plan to a bank or investor, include a cover letter stating how much money I am  requesting, the type of loan (equipment, line of credit, etc.), and a specific description of how I will use the money. How and why did we enter the child care field?

Now in our country most of the educated persons are unemployed after completing their graduation. In this reason most of us are going to bad sectors like, terrorism, smuggling, robbery, and educated by drug. So I am decided to set up a legal business firm, in these sense I am decided to set up a Day care center for Child care. Most of the employed parents are always busy on their job so I  selected that part and we thought to set up a Child care home, so that I can built them as an perfect value for our society.

This document was created by a collaborative team to help current and potential child care center owners/managers/directors start up and continue to provide stable and quality child care. The team brought together business consultants and early childhood specialists to develop a plan that will combine best business practices with appropriate care and education of young children.

This project paper is designed to be used as a workbook. There is a two-page business plan overview, followed by workbook pages highlighting each section of the business plan.

I am a youth with the qualification of completing B.Com (Hon’s), near future I will complete my graduation form Daffodil International University of Bangladesh. Now I am unemployed person I am build the “Day Care Center”.

I am going to offer the following services:

Child Care for the children at the aged between 1-6years. Educate them in a proper syllabus.

Child minders are self-employed child cares who will look after your child in their own home.

Day Nurseries look after and educate children aged 0-5. They are usually open all day but not evenings and weekends.

Out of school services or kids’ clubs, offer play and care to school age children, aged 3 upwards. Depending on the hours you need to work, you may want a breakfast club – open before school, an after school club – open after school or a holiday play scheme – open during school holidays.

Early education and nursery classes – Nursery Schools are usually open school hours during term time.  Children can attend all day or just on a session basis.  Some primary school also offer reception and nursery classes.  Contact your local authority’s education

Department for details.

 Technology:

Market Segmentation:

There most of the parents whom are service man and they cannot take care to their child so for that persons I set up this “Day Care Center”, so they are the most targeted persons. I may segment our market based on that type of family.

Is there a need for child care in the area where you business will be located?

It is proved that where I am going to set up my “Day Care Center’’ because most of the parents are engaged with job. So it is really play a profitable business and I will success to gain my goal.

How much of a need is there and how much of it will you serve?

Because of employed parents most of them are thing to know

– About childcare is that their child’s needs are being respected and met.
– They want their children’s cultural background recognized.
– They want secure premises, well trained and experienced staff and somewhere where their

  Children can play and learn happily.
– They want to be involved and to know about what their children are doing each day.

 Market Growth:

The demand of Day care center is rising up at such a high rate. There are many day care center in the upgraded country, except in our country, some of the NGOs are recently setup some Day care center in our country which is most expansive.

These NGOs are offered same type of services as I already mentioned above. They are not threat for our business because they are not harmful for the society, and I think that this type of day care center are indirectly helping me to knowing or verifying which is best, so in this sense I am always provide the better. And this type of centers are always try to provide the better services.

Strategies and Implementation:

Strategy Pyramids:

There are three distinct levels Strategy Marketing Strategy, Pricing Strategy, Product Strategy, Product Strategy, Sales Strategy are the most important. In [Figure- 1.1] are shown the Strategy Pyramids.

Marketing Strategy:

Organized many social work like, tree plantation, welfare, free cloth distribution,

Free services provide for the introducing about the service center.

Pricing Strategy:

Always try to make the service charge as a lowest from other competitors, and the services chare or fees must be reasonable for the people at the locality.  

Promotion Strategy:

Promotion Strategy is one of the most important strategies of a business, here the employees of the department must be serious on their job performance, and they are more serious when they get a promotion for their better performance.

Promotion Strategy are followed by the following steps like; increasing salary, gave holiday at a long period of a year at least 15 days vocation, free tour, or increases the designation.

 Marketing Programs:

  • Providing some expert marketer or field worker for introducing about the “Day care center’’.
  • Advertising at news paper, TV channels, posturing, Milking, Advertising at magazine, and also organized many cultural show, concert, stage performance.
  • Organized many social work like, tree plantation, welfare, free cloth distribution,
  • Free services provide for the introducing about the service center.

 Sales Strategy:

I am only member in this business, and most of we are invest same amount.

Organizational Structure:

The total employees number in our “Day Care Center’’ are 25. Here the levels of employees are in 3 levels, in the top level there are the MD. The mid level is including HRM, Marketing & Sales Officer. The first level is including with Secretary, teachers, nurses, keepers. Now we will clear about there hierarchy from the following picture (6.1).
