This three Storegga Slides are regarded as amongst the largest known landslides. A new fall would trigger an exceptionally large tsunami that has to be devastating for this coast areas throughout the North Sea and the Norwegian Sea. At, or shortly prior to, the time on the last Storegga Slip, a land bridge seen to archaeologists and geologists because Doggerland existed, linking areas of Great Great britain, Denmark and the netherlands across what has become the southern Upper Sea.
