The aim of this lecture is to present on Coastal Ecosystems: Salt Marshes. Salt marshes are coastal wetlands that are flooded and drained by salt water brought in by the tides. They are marshy because the soil may be composed of deep mud and peat. here also briefly focus on Factors Driving Coastal Ecosystems and Animals of the Salt Marsh Community. Finally describe on Salt Marsh Communities: Highly productive; Very stressful; Trap sediment; Stabilize and extend coastlines, especially those with fluvial input.
