Public intoxication also recognized as drunk and disorderly, is a summary crime in several countries rated to public cases or displays of drunkenness. Public intoxication laws differ broadly from country to country, but typically require some obvious display of intoxicated incompetence or behavior disruptive to public order before the charge is levied.
