Progressive Tax

Progressive Tax is a tax that swallows a larger percentage in the income of high-income earners than it can from low-income individuals. The United States tax is considered intensifying: in 2010, people that earned up to $8, 375 fell into 10% tax area, while individuals generating $373, 650 or more fell into the actual 35% tax area. Basically, taxpayers are categorize into categories based on taxable income; the harder one earns, the more taxes they have to pay once they cross the benchmark cut-off points involving the different tax area levels.
