Program Management introduced in the last several years to denote the overall management of a series of related, ongoing projects within an organization. It is the process of managing multiple related projects at once. Where it is often used to describe one project, program management involves multiple projects that are all related and working toward the same goal or result. It also emphasizes the coordinating and prioritizing of resources across projects, managing links between the projects and the overall costs and risks of the program.
