Preventive Maintenance is maintenance that is certainly regularly performed on a sheet of equipment to lessen the likelihood of it failing. Preventive Maintenance is completed while the equipment remains to be working, so that no break down all of the sudden. It indicates intensive analysis of equipment to establish the tasks that could minimize breakdowns. Preventive Maintenance is more complicated to coordinate compared to run-to-failure maintenance since the maintenance schedule need to be planned. It is less complex to help coordinate than predictive servicing because monitoring strategies do not have to be planned nor the effects interpreted.
