Postliberal theology is a movement in contemporary theology that rejects both the Enlightenment appeal with a ‘universal rationality’ and also the liberal assumption associated with an immediate religious experience common to every one humanity. The movement initially began from the 1980’s with its association to Yale Divinity School. Postliberal theology (often named narrative theology) is a theological movement which often became popular from the late twentieth century.
