The main focus of this article is National Adaptation Programme of Action. LDC work programme are the national adaptation programme of action (NAPAs), which supply a process for LDCs to indicate the priority activities that inform to their urgent and instant needs with regard to adaptation to climate change. The rationale for NAPAs rests on the fixed ability of LDCs to adapt to the adverse effects of climate change. In order to address the short time adaptation needs of LDCs, a new system was needed that would focus on enhancing adaptive capacity to climate variability, which itself would help address the adverse effects of climate change.
