The major objective of this article is to know about muscle cramps. Muscle cramps can be chiefly troublesome during pregnancy, in patients with electrolyte disturbances, and in patients on hemodialysis. Spasms may arise from abnormal electrical activity of the central nervous system mediated via the motor neuron or occur within the motor neuron or muscle fiber itself.
