Metaphysical naturalism, also known as ontological naturalism, philosophical naturalism in addition to scientific materialism is a worldview which holds there’s nothing but pure elements, principles, and relations in the kind studied because of the natural sciences, i.e., those instructed to understand our real environment by mathematical modelling.
