Metamodeling is a model that defines the components of a conceptual model, process, or system. It is such as object-oriented modeling, or even climate modeling in that it produces models (—) well, metamodels (—) which are an attempt at describing the world around us for a particular purpose. Metamodeling typically involves studying the output and input relationships and then fitting right metamodels to represent that behavior. This article talks about “model, metamodeling, purpose, particular”.
