Life in A Village

Life in A Village

Introduction: Ours is an agricultural country. About eighty-five percent of our people are farmers. They live in villages. The calm, clean, and serene ambiance of the communities helps in keeping the mind clear and the body fit. According to the census, almost two-thirds of the population still resides in the villages. So, village life in our country is very important and useful. In villages, the people stay united no matter what. Agriculture and farming are some of the toughest jobs in India because most of them depend on manual labor and persistence. So various schemes should be planned to improve the village life.

Beauty and pleasure: Our villages are full of beauties of nature. They are not yet soiled by human hands. The beautiful sights and the sweet sounds of nature are still there to feed the eyes and cars of the people living in villages. These also give great pleasure to every mind. The air in the open fields around the village is pure. It is not made impure by the dust and smoke of factories. Fatal road accidents are also absent in villages.

Villages: The village people are simple. There are good neighbor relations and fellow feelings among the village people. They share in joys and sorrows mutually. People in villages lead a very ordinary life with almost no luxury, but they are happy with their limited resources. The locals live in “kaccha” houses or temporary houses, made up of mud or clay, which has thatched roofs made out of straws or burnt clay tiles. The infrastructure is not that good in the villages; there might be just one or two schools and hospitals in the whole village. The literacy rate in villages is also very less due to this fact. Deceit, fraud, and treachery have much less scope in the village. So, they are found in less rural areas.

The transport system in the villages is not as smooth as in the urban cities. Many communities are connected by kutcha roads and usually involve a long commute. The villagers like to spend their time in harmony. They like to celebrate together during the time of harvest or any local festival. The art forms of the natives are quite impressive. Their music, dance, paintings are all inspired by nature and their regular lifestyle.

Life in a Village: Life in the village is full of simplicity and peace. Almost every place is full of natural beauty in villages. Most of the villages have a beautiful river or a hill beside them. It looks amazing when the village is located near a river.

It is possible to get fresh air and oxygen here. The drinking water is clean and free of pollution. And most importantly, life is calm and very simple. There are wide areas to roam around and spend time. Another important part of village life is food.

It is possible to get fresh fruits and vegetables. That is almost impossible in the cities. That’s a huge advantage of village life over city life. Food habits are highly important for our health and body. People live in villages as a joint family.

Disadvantage: But the village life is not an unmixed good. The villages are poor and do have not the minimum comforts arid advantage of life. The villages have no roads. These go underwater in the rainy season. Then the villages cannot go from one place to another on foot.

There are good schools and colleges in the village. So, the children of the villages cannot receive a proper education. There are no good dispensaries and hospitals in villages. Even there is not a good doctor there. So, the village people die without proper medical treatment. All those disadvantages should be removed to make the village life good and comfortable.

Conclusion: Village life is amazing and it’s fascinating. I am sure you will love this life. Because when you are living in a village, you are out of worries and tensions. Yet the village-site is safe, cold and mild as far I think. This is why I like village life.
