Legal sociology is often described as a sub-discipline of sociology or an interdisciplinary approach within legal scientific studies. Some see sociology regarding law as belonging “necessarily” towards field of sociology whilst others are likely to consider it a field of research trapped between the disciplines of law and also sociology.
