Leg length discrepancy dissimilarity in the true length of one leg compared to the other. It can be structural or functional as a consequence of altered lower limb biomechanics. Differences are not unusual and typically asymptomatic. Larger discrepancy will create a compensatory pelvic tilt or secondary scoliosis.
