Hurricane engineering is a relatively new and emerging discipline in the field of civil engineering. It is an integration of several recognized branches associated with engineering, such because structural engineering, the wind engineering, coastal engineering, and forensic engineering, with other acknowledged sciences and planning functions including, climatology, oceanography, architecture, emergency management along with preparedness, hazard minimization and hazard analysis.
