Prime objective of this lecture is to Group Collaboration. Collaboration is essential to business. The value of groups exceeds the value of combined individual group members. Group Collaboration are Teams, committees, departments and other work groups collaborate on common tasks. They can have meetings, use the telephone and route written information. Collaboration in the workplace is when two or more people (often groups) work together through idea sharing and thinking to accomplish a common goal.
