General purpose of this lecture is to presentation on Foundations of Information Systems in Business. Information system is a system, an interrelated group of business procedures used inside one business unit working together for just a purpose, this system exists in a environment and has boundary separates a system from its environment. Here briefly analysis some Characteristics of a System, they are: Components of Information Systems, Interrelated, Boundary, Purpose, Environment, Interfaces, Input, Output and Constraints of Information Systems etc.
