Energy Crop

An energy crop is a new plant grown as a low-cost and low-maintenance harvest employed to make biofuels, such as bioethanol, or combusted due to the energy content to generate electricity or warmth. Energy crop are likely to be categorized as woody or herbaceous plants; lots of the latter are grasses. Commercial energy crops are typically densely planted, high-yielding crop species the location where the energy crops will probably be burnt to crank out power.
