Educational Leadership involves working with teachers and other education professionals on systemic plans to improve educational programming and outcomes. It is usually the responsibility of school administrators and principals, who strive to create positive change in educational policy and processes. It can be found at all levels of education, from pre-school program directors to academic deans at universities. Educational leadership draws upon interdisciplinary literature, generally, but ideally distinguishes itself through its focus on pedagogy, epistemology and human development.
