Eco-terrorism is defined through the Federal Bureau of Investigation as “the use or threatened by using violence of the criminal nature against people or property or home by an ecologically oriented, subnational team for environmental-political causes, or aimed from an audience beyond the mark, often of the symbolic nature. ” Eco-terrorism is a term used to refer to acts of violence committed to to get ecological or ecological causes, against persons or their property.
