The cycle of poverty continues to be described as the phenomenon where poor families become stuck in poverty with regard to generations. Because they have no or limited entry to critical resources, such as education and monetary services, subsequent generations can also be impoverished. In economics, the cycle of poverty is the “set of aspects or events by which poverty, once began, is likely to continue unless there is outside intervention”.
