Cosmochemistry is the study of chemical composition of matter inside universe and the processes that concluded in those compositions. It is done primarily throughout the study of the actual chemical composition of meteorites along with physical samples. Given that the asteroid parent body of meteorites were a number of the first solid materials to condense from the early solar nebula, cosmochemists are usually, but not solely, concerned with the objects contained in the solar system.
