Computational sociology is a branch of sociology of which uses computationally intensive techniques to analyze and model social phenomena. Using computer simulations, unnatural intelligence, complex record methods and analytic approaches like social network analysis, computational sociology builds up and tests theories of complex interpersonal processes through bottom-up modeling of social interactions.
