The definition of “reverse racism” came into use as the struggle for African-American legal rights divided the whitened community. Reverse racism is a phenomenon in which often discrimination, sometimes legally sanctioned, against a predominant or formerly predominant racial or other group representative on the majority in a certain society takes area, for a number of reasons, often initially as an attempt at redressing earlier wrongs.
