Strategy has many descriptions, but generally consists of setting goals, determining actions to own goals, and mobilizing methods to execute those things. Strategic planning is surely an organization’s process of understanding its strategy, or path, and making decisions on allocating its resources to pursue this plan. It may also extend to control mechanisms for guiding the implementation with the strategy.
