The major purpose of this article is represent on Classification of Banking Industry. There are various Classification of Banking Industry which are very important. The number of banks in many now stands from 49 in Bangladesh. From the 49 banks, several are Nationalized Commercial Banks (NCBs), 31 local private industrial banks, 12 foreign banks along with the rest five are Development Banking institutions (DFIs).
