Barometer is an instrument measuring atmospheric pressure, used especially in forecasting the weather and determining altitude. It is widely used weather instrument that measures atmospheric pressure (also known as air pressure or barometric pressure) — the weight of the air in the atmosphere. This is where are pressure would be the lowest: at sea level; on top of Mt. Everest; at the bottom of the Grand Canyon and on top of a skyscraper.
