Apollo to Artemis launches on Meta Quest in “Space Explorers”

The immersive VR documentary “Space Explorers – Apollo to Artemis” was published by Felix & Paul Studios for this year’s Space Day. The sequel to the successful VR series for Meta Quest (2) and Quest Pro focuses on the history of space exploration, from the first moon landing to NASA’s latest lunar missions centered on Project Artemis.

VR time travel across cosmic history

The story revolves around Gene Krantz, who served as NASA Flight Director for the Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo projects, including the memorable Apollo 11 lunar landing mission in 1969.

Viewers receive a unique glimpse at space history through archive film and personal tales of the Apollo program’s problems and accomplishments. “Space Explorers – Apollo to Artemis” is currently accessible on Meta Quest TV and is playable with Meta Quest, Meta Quest 2, and Quest Pro.

The immersive film studio most recently supported the launch of Artemis I in a live streaming event. Meta Quest 2 allowed people to witness the rocket launch in virtual reality in Meta’s Horizon Worlds. In 2021, the studio earned an Emmy Award for the immersive documentary series Space Explorers: The ISS Experience.
