It is a broadly described annual report of Keya Cosmetics Limited in the year of 2016-2017. The Company has contributed the total amount of Tk. 312,055,728 to National Exchequer as against Tk. 354,889,085 it the previous year. During the financial year, 26.35% sales growth was achieved compared to the growth rate of 12.29% in the preceding year. In the year 2016-17 overall sales achievement stood at Tk. 10,406,605,367/- which was Tk. 926,79,99,144/- in the last year. The Company’s total net profit after tax 1k.167,50,39,066/-during the year 2016-2017 as against Tk. 132,56,79,167/- during the previous year and net profit growth rate of 26.35%. Company’s Net turnover, Gross profit, Net profit after tax and Shareholders equity was increased by 12.28% i.e. BDT 113.86 Crore, 22.95% i.e. BDT 55.72 Crore, 26.35% i.e. BDT 34.94 Crore and 15.01% i.e. BDT 167.50 Crore from than that of the previous year.
The Board of Directors is pleased to recommend @20% stock dividend on equity shares for the year ended 30th June 2017 for consideration and approval by the shareholders in this annual general meeting. These financial statements are presented in Bangladesh Taka (Taka/Tk/BDT) which is the company’s functional currency. All financial information presented in Taka has been rounded off to the nearest Taka.
