It is a broadly described annual report of Dutch-Bangla Bank Limited in the year of 2012. In 2012, profit before tax increased by 5.9% and stood at Taka 4,817.1 million compared to Taka 4,547.7 million in 2011. Profit after tax increased by 7.4% and stood at Taka 2,314.1 million compared to Taka 2,154.9 million in 2011. The return on equity was 23.4% compared to 27.0% in 2011. As at the end of 2012, Capital Adequacy Ratio was 12.0% under Basel II, as against Bangladesh Bank’s minimum requirement of 10.0%.
