The pre-tax profit stood at Taka. 263.62 million in 2003 down from Taka. 362.23 million in 2002.

The dividend for 2002 was declared on 24-06-2003 and therefore, the dividend for 2002 was paid in 2003. The net dividend of Tk. 6,816 relating to the year 2002 was paid to 3 non-resident shareholders against 16,037 shares held by them after deduction of Income Tax at the source of Tk. 1,203. These financial statements are presented in Bangladesh Taka (Taka/Tk/BDT) which is the company’s functional currency. All financial information presented in Taka has been rounded off to the nearest Taka.
