Animal communication is the transfer of information from one or a group of animals to more than one other animals which affects either the present or future behavior from the receivers. The transfer of information can be deliberate or it may be unintentional. When canine communication involves several receivers, this may be referred to as an “audience”. Quite a few animals communicate through vocalization. Vocal communication is important for many chores, including mating rituals, warning calls and social learning.
