Acute myeloid leukemia, also referred to as acute myelogenous leukemia as well as acute nonlymphocytic leukemia, can be a cancer of the myeloid type of blood cells, seen as the rapid development of abnormal light blood cells that accumulate within the bone marrow and affect the production involving normal blood solar cells.
