Upper Ontology actually is “an attempt to create an ontology which describes very general concepts that are the same across all domains. The aim is to have a large number on ontologies accessible under this upper ontology”. It is becoming a key technology for integrating heterogeneous knowledge coming from different sources. It also like as a bridges for allowing intelligent software agents to align heterogeneous ontologies in an automatic way, where we analyse the most up-to-date state-of-theart.
